Reading Time

Grayson wanted to read to Rogan the other day. He wanted Rogan to sit in the rocker with him. He loves his little bro! As many of you know, Grayson loves his books. He has his own little library in his room, as Marc likes to say! Grayson also got a bike he has been practicing riding. We have really been enjoying this lovely weather. We have been playing outside and taking lots of walks.

Rogan went to his two month appointment on Wednesday. He is 11lbs and 10oz and 22.5 in. long. He is growing so fast. He had a great check up. Rogan also got his first set of vaccinations since leaving the hospital when he was born. Needless to say, he did not enjoy those! Do they ever?! He continues to change every day. Today when I was holding him, I was tickling him under his chin and he was just laughing! That was the first time he has laughed aloud except for in his sleep! :)
Grayson went with Marc on Saturday to The Children's Museum to see Wolverine! Wolverine was making his grand appearance over the weekend at the museum. Grayson had been talking about it all week. Rogan and I decided to stay at home. Grayson told me he wasn't scared of Wolverine and as you can see, he walked right up to him.

Happy First Easter Rogan!!!

Well, it was Rogan's first Easter. The Easter Bunny remembered to drop off a basket for Rogan too along with Grayson's .He even made a stop at Grandpa and Grandma's for the boys. We told Grayson, "The Easter Bunny must love you boys a lot!" Rogan got some baby food and some toys and Grayson got a little bit of EVERYTHING!!! Grayson enjoyed hunting for eggs. When he woke up Eater morning, he asked if the Easter Bunny had came by yet. He loved coloring his eggs this year. He accidentally dropped a few but they still make great deviled eggs! At least they were already boiled..thank goodness.

The days just keep flying past! All along, everyone keeps getting bigger by the moment! We are in the process of transitioning Rogan into his bed from his bassinet in our room. We had Grayson in our room for about 2.5 months and then did the same thing. I think it is better for everyone! Rogan is just about there in terms of sleeping through the night, it won't be long. He sleeps a long stretch from about 10:00- 3:30. I expect soon enough, he will sleep until 5:00 or 6:00. for Marc and I, we are both still lacking in sleep. I feel like during the day, there just aren't enough hours now. I just can't let things go... such as house work. I like things neat and clean. It is my curse I guess. Grayson tries so hard to be such a big helper but it still isn't easy juggling everything. It feels like a never ending Merry Go Round!!! :) It has it's ups and downs.
Enjoy the photos and Happy Easter to all!!!

Just one of the guys

Rogan has become one of the guys with daddy and Grayson. On the evenings I teach, they are all getting along really well. Rogan just keeps changing. The other day, I had to put away all of his new born clothes. It made me sad! He is so much more alert now, looking at every thing and taking it all in. He tries so hard to coo and talk. He just gets those little arms going along with his legs. the other night when I was rocking him, he belly laughed in his sleep for the first time. It was adorable. He sure is precious!

Grayson keeps getting bigger! We tell him, he will always be our baby too. He does not like that at all. He says, "I Grayson." He lets us know he is not a baby! Grayson got a new costume from his friend Kameron when they came by to visit. Kameron got him a clone trooper costume in case you are wondering what he has on.
We are all looking forward to our first Easter with Rogan. Since Rogan can't have candy, we let the Easter Bunny know that he can bring him some baby food for later when he starts solids. Grayson is looking forward to hunting for Easter eggs and coloring them! Happy Easter to everyone!
