May the force be with you!!

Grayson got a Darth Vader mask the other day while he was out with daddy. When I walked in the door the other day, he greeted me as 'Darth'. Well, it is that time of the year again for corn on the cop and fresh veggies. Grayson and I love it! We had corn the other evening. It was too hot to eat at first and Graysn said,"I'm waiting on you corn!". I laughed so hard, the things he comes up with. Grayson also got stung by a bee for the first time while we were at the park with Rogan. I felt so bad. He came running over crying. I explained to him that the bee didn't mean to sting him, it just got scared. I told him when bees get scared, they sting. He was very brave considering and his ear didn't swell up so hat was a plus!

Rogan has gotten so big. We were looking at him the other day and his legs and cheeks have gotten so big! He is really filling out.Rogan is definitely bigger than Grayson was at this point. We are still battling sleeping through the night. Rogan does a 5-7 hour stretch and then he wants to eat every 2 hours. Our boy loves to eat!!! He is also still adjusting to his bed. At first, the only way he would sleep was in his swing. Complete opposite of Grayson who wanted nothing to do with the swing! I decided he was getting too big to be sleeping in the swing, reflux or not, I was determined to switch to the bed! I told his pediatrician about sleeping in the swing and he said it was b/c of the reflux. Rogan would literally wake up instantly every time I laid him in his bed. Needless to say, we are over that phase now. I just would like to get back to the 7 hour stretch he was doing while rocking. He is still doing great though! He is such a happy baby. Everyone comments on how happy he is.

Marc's job is going well. It has been hard juggling everything with school ending and longer hours for Marc. I had to take the boys to class with me the other evening. The night of finals of all nights Marc's meeting with his boss ran extremely over and he didn't get home before I had to leave. Luckily, he picked up the boys at my work about 10min. after we arrived. They were both really good. Grayson enjoyed seeing all my students and the girls enjoyed meeting the family. Graduation was the next night. While setting everything up and making punch, I had ginger ale explode all over me from head to toe...drenched. I dried in time for graduation...thank goodness!! Graduation was great. The girls made my day! Their parents were so thankful and like wise were the girls. It was a nice celebration! It made me realize teaching assisting is my purpose career speaking! I am lucky to have the best of both worlds. I get to stay home with my boys and work part time at a job love!
Marc will be 35 this Wednesday so we will be celebrating that!! I couldn't tell Grayson what we bought b/c I knew he would tell Marc! We hope he likes it!! Off to the hardware store and to get some lunch with the family.

Big News

Life is still moving at a fast pace around here. I am hoping with teaching coming to a close end for this year, life will slow down a bit. We shall see, right. Well, I am proud to tell everyone that Marc got his big promotion!! He is now an' Area Director'!!! Yea!!!! We are so very happy for him. He has worked very hard to get to where he is! He will have five stores that he is over. The timing could not have been better since I will be off for the summer. That will give him a chance to get use to his new role.

Mother's Day was special thanks to my boys and husband. They took me out to lunch at Texas Road House, my favorite! Later we went to my mom's to visit with everyone. It was wonderful celebrating being a mom with my two boys and wonderful hubby! I would have never thought a year ago, Rogan would be a part of our lives. We are so blessed!

Rogan is almost three months, it is so hard to believe. It seems like we just brought him home yesterday! He is now sucking on his hands a lot, now that he has found them. He coos a lot also. Grayson is just about finished with his pre-school for the year. We are looking forward to taking Rogan to the YMCA this summer for some fun in the sun! These next few months will be busy for Marc but we excited! :)
