Funny Little Boys!

Grayson has been quite the joker lately. He made me laugh so hard the other day. He was doing push ups and when he does them he say," One Mississippi, two Mississippi etc..." but when Grayson says Mississippi, it comes out as, "One Mipoopy, two Mipoopy." I laughed so hard, my sides hurt. Then, the other day when we were driving in the car, Grayson was in the back singing as he always does. He said, "God is great, etc" and at first I couldn't make out the words but thought he was saying his meal time prayer. As I began to listen closer, he said, "God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy." Now for those of you that listen to country, I am sure you have heard that song. No, we do not go around teaching him about alcohol! It is a popular country song right now. Grayson loves his country music! I once again, laughed so hard!! One of the many things that make children so special. In one of the photos, Grayson is petting a goat at the Hamilton County fair. We took the boys last weekend. We had a really nice family day there! and the food was yummy!
When ever I am having a rough day, it seems he always knows how to brighten it. Really, even a rough day isn't that bad! :) Too much to be thankful for!! Rogan is my funny boy too. Tonight when I was giving Rogan and Grayson a bath together, Rogan shot pee across the bath tub onto Grayson. I thought it was funny, I'm not sure about Grayson. I am so excited about Rogan's sleeping pattern. He is now sleeping 12 hours at night waking up about 3:00 AM and goes back to sleep until 7:00AM. He takes his morning nap around 9:00 AM for about 1.5 to 2 hours and then another nap in the afternoon. Finally, some sleep for myself and Marc. I thought this day would never come. Rogan also goes down by being put in the bed after his evening routine!! Yea...we made it! :)

What next?

Our boy Grayson has been enjoying his summer thus far. He's been to the Greenfield fair with Grandpa. We had lunch there and then made our rounds to all the animals so Grayson could pet them. He has been to the park a lot. Jack, his friend has met us there also. They went to the train museum the last time we were there. Forest park is just the best. It has a carousel and train museum. We have taken Grandma to Forest Park also. Rogan enjoys the scenery and looking at all the action.

We have been taking walks in the morning. Rogan is enjoying those even more so now that he sits up in his stroller. It is a whole new world from a different view! Grayson walks Macie, our dog, while I push Rogan. We make quite a team. Grayson is getting very good at playing t-ball. He hits it pretty far across the yard. He is also pretty coordinated when kicking the soccer ball and he loves to play basketball. Grayson has also began a reward chart that he is very excited about. Thus far,it seems to be helping him understand things better and listen more.
Rogan is now eating cereal and some fruits and veggies. We just began a few weeks ago. He did not like cereal at first (powdered kind). We tried the jar kind and it has been love at first bite! :) He is a healthy eater for certain. He is sleeping pretty good. Yes, we still have bad nights and we will but that is all part of it.

Marc's job is still going well and he is enjoying it. We are thankful for his promotion especially with the way the economy is going. I will be staying home instead of returning to teaching in the evenings in August. Long story short, my position was eliminated and moved to the day program. It is a huge controversy right now with my director and the day director. I figure, every thing happens for a reason and God must know our lives would be too demanding right now for me to be gone at night. I loved my job but it is out of my hands.
