Guess Who's Walking...

Yes, it is true..no longer is he toddling every where and holding on. Rogan is now a walking ball of joy and destruction! He is so cute when he walks. When Rogan first began, he had not figured out the whole leg bending thing. Therefor, one leg was straight while the other swung out to the side like a 'real cow boy' would do it. We got lots of laughs out of that. He has mastered his strut now with great speed! Rogan gets going and just laughs as he cruises around the house!
Our Easter pictures turned out great along with the visit to see The Easter Bunny himself! They both were so excited. Grayson hopped right on his lap and Rogan was eager to get in the game also. Grayson asked me, "Mommy, why doesn't The Easter Bunny talk". Great question right! We have also been enjoying our walks and now taking bread along to feed the ducks! It is so much fun. We always have ducks around the retention pond in our neighbor hood. Rogan has also been enjoying the sand box and loves it as you can see.

Grayson and I had a date today. We went and saw 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs'. It was really cute and fun to go with just my big boy! I also had some girl time this weekend and it was wonderful. All the women in our family (Callaway Women) went out for my mother's 55th birthday. It was so much fun and great to see everyone! I have missed doing that! :)

Our Trip to The Zoo

On Tuesday the boys and I packed up our things along with some yummy lunch that we made and headed over to the Zoo. It was just a perfect day. The weather was wonderful, just enough sun shine to keep us warm and not too many people. The animals were all out with the weather being so nice. We visited the sharks first as we always do and then walked around until lunch time. Rogan really enjoyed loooking at all the fish and the sharks. He was anxiously wanting to touch one also. The boys both enjoy the penguins as does Mommy. The Cheetas are coming soon. We look forward to seeing that exhibit when it opens. Grayson had an adventure himself, climbing rocks and jumping off them. He still loves playing at the play ground there. He asked me when he could play in the water again. The zoo has a really nice splash pad that was added a few years ago. He is ready for out door pool time. Even though he goes swimming with Marc every Friday, he is still waiting for summer pool play. I can't wait myself. This simmer Rogan will be the perfect age verses last summer.
We decided to see the Easter Bunny on Monday when we get Easter photos taken. It was just too nice to be inside this week! Rogan is over his cold. I ended up getting the worst sinus infection I have ever gotten but am feeling better since I went to the doctor. Speaking of that, our family doctor is wonderful but I am tired of going! :) We are looking forward to Easter. We plan on going to Grandpa and Grandma's that day for dinner and an Easter Egg hunt. Grayson also has a Easter Egg hunt and party at school coming up. We are just loving being outside playing in the sun and fresh air. Rogan has discovered he enjoys taking his hat off and letting his hair blow in the wind, he just laughs. My sweet boys!

Circus, Birthday Parties and more

Grayson and Rogan have been enjoying this wonderful weather. We have been able to play outside and walk nearly every day...yea! It is about time. Grayson walks Macie while I push Rogan's car/buggy he got from Santa for Christmas. He just loves it. Rogan actually cries to go outside if I walk over to the door with him. Grayson has been doing well on his bike. They both love their swing set and swinging.

Grayson went with Marc last Sunday to the circus. They had a great time although, Grayson was ready for the show to be over after about an hour. Marc said about that time, all the children were looking else where. We figured he was about the right age to remember and enjoy some of it. Grayson also went to a friends birthday party at the gymnastics place. Grayosn got to jump around a lot which he enjoyed. Grayson still looks forward to 'Y Night' as he calls it when him and Marc go swimming at the YMCA on Friday nights. He asks me every day, "Is this the day I'm going to the Y?". He loves his one on one with Daddy!
Rogan is getting bigger and bigger. He has been taking steps here and there. His first the other day, followed by 3 and then 5, so exciting. He currently has a cold. I have taken him to the doctor with certainty he had an ear infection since he's had drainage and to my surprise, he does not! Wow! that is a first for him. I am relieved he does not but now I am ready for my poor baby to feel better. If all goes well, we are planing on seeing the Easter Bunny tomorrow. We shall see.
