Valentine's Day, Rogan's Birthday and Soccer

The boys have been so busy. Valentines Day was lots of fun! The boys loved all their gifts along with their special dinner I made while Marc and I had crab legs after the boys went to bed so we could sit the entire dinner and enjoy some adult conversation. Grayson had a Valentine's Day party at school I was able to attend. I just love visiting his classroom and seeing him with all his friends. It brings so much joy to my heart! I also read a few stories about Valentine's Day to his class. Rogan enjoyed getting cookies from Taylor's that day from Grandma when she arrived. We all love Taylor's as you can see from the photo of boys as they are peeking in the box of cookies.

Rogan enjoyed his actual birthday! He helped me make his cake that moring. I think Rogan loved mixing the batter almost as much as he loved licking the spatula afterwards! Marc took the day off to celebrate the entire day with all of us. We took Rogan to 'The Children's Museum' all by himself after dropping Grayson off at school. They have a new exhibit that he enjoyed exploring, Dora and Diego! What fun. Following the exhibit, we headed up to Rogan's favorite area, 'The Carosel' on the fourth floor. He just loves it and must always ride it at least two times before leaving. It is so hard to think that two very short years ago we brought Rogan home. He is getting too big. I adore how he calls me, 'honeey'. Yes, he draws out the 'e' making it even cuter. I call him honey often so he returns the jesture. I also sing, 'You are my sunshine' to him so he also calls me, 'Sunshine'. His favorite song at this moment is' Go Go Go' from 'The Backyardigan's'. For those of you that do not know what this is, it's a show on Nick Jr. they enjoy watching along with the many videos we have of it. Rogan has also become extremely fond of 'Bob the Builder' and 'Thomas' just like Grayson. No we do not sit around and watch lots of television but they do have their favorite shows they enjoy. Yes, Elmo is still the number one red, fuzzy, plush lovie around here! No one could ever hold a candle to Elmo!!!

Grayson has been loving soccer and so have all of us. We all enjoy watching him play every Saturday. Grayson gets a great work out from it. He is always a hot mess afterwards. He works hard running up and down that court chasing the ball. He has even made a few goals!! Rogan gets into it also. He likes to wear his soccer shirts to the games. Rogan lets me know he wants to be dressed in his soccer shirt when I take him upstairs to change out of his pajamas on Saturday mornings. The boys also recently had their six month checkups at the dentist. Grayson loves it while Rogan likes playing there but could think of a million other places he would rather be when it comes time for his turn. Grayson used to be the same so I am certain in time, he too will love Dr. Kugar too.

Marc and I are doing well also. Marc's company was just bought out by corporate, which is a good thing. There will be even more opportunity for him moving upward now that they have taken over. We are very excited to see what journey this will bring to our family and future. We are so proud of him. He has been a wonderful provider for our family, a hard worker and a wonderful Daddy to the boys. I could not have asked for any thing more. Hope you all are doing well also and enjoy our family update. The boys are eager to be outside again and have been enjoying getting out these few past weeks and getting fresh air as they run up and down the side walk and all around the yard. They have missed their outside toys and swing set!! We are eagerly awaiting Springs arrival.
