Rogan has arrived!!! Happy Birthday!!! Let the fun begin!

As everyone knows, we love Mickey Mouse in our house! Rogan decided he wanted a Mickey party about four months ago! It was such a fun party! I had so much fun decorating cupcakes and his cake. I made it all from scratch with love! Everyone got their pictures taken with Mickey when they arrived and then the kids painted some magnets to take home after the party. We also played some games and found the hidden Mickey's. When ever we go to Disney, we have so much fun looking around the resort for the hidden Mickey's in our room and on the grounds of the resort. On the day of Rogan's birthday, I asked him what he wanted to do and his first reply was, "Go the the library." Is that cute or what. After we went to the library, we headed over to Conner Prairie's Discovery Zone! What a fun morning we had! We picked up Grayson from kindergarten and then went to Qdoba for lunch, Rogan's request! Rogan got a really fun Radio Flyer scooter from us and he just loves it. He too loves Power Rangers like big brother and got a few of those also!

I always get so excited for the boys birthdays and then by the evening it has soaked it that they are yet another year older and how fast time continues to go by and I get a little sad! But then I remind myself to be thankful God has chosen Marc and I to be their parents and be thankful for each and every day we get to share with them! The Sunday before Rogan's birthday, we made our traditional birthday trip to The Children's museum! We never get tired of that museum no matter how many times we go and that's why we love our membership.

We wanted to thank all of our family and friends who came and celebrated Rogan's special day! He got so many wonderful gifts and had such a great time! He told me the morning of his birthday, "Mommy, I so excited!!" , he also said that the day of his party! He has been enjoying all of his gifts and cards and books. My boys have always loved being read to so we enjoy adding books to our home library and yes, it looks like a library on their book shelves. Happy Birthday Rogan!!!! Today is your day, it's your birthday...let's celebrate!

Soccer, Shoveling, Birthday Parties and Power Ranger Rogan!

This has been such a fun and busy month for us all. Last month we actually saw a small amount of snow that we got to play in and the boys were able to shovel. They love to help shovel. They most enjoy throwing snow balls at their mother, who wouldn't right! The birds have finally eaten all the bird seed we put on pine cones and hung in the trees. We enjoy seeing and watching cardinals as they eat from the pine cones. Now we are trying to figure out if it is spring or still winter. Even the bulbs around our house are confused and starting to bloom! We have enjoyed playing outside in the beautiful weather the past few weeks. We are getting spoiled!

Last month I also attended a play with Grayson's school at Clowes Hall to see a puppet show in tribute to Eric Carle. We saw 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. It was so cute; I was a chaperon during the field trip. I enjoyed it as much as all the children in the class. Rogan also has big news. I enrolled him in preschool this past week for the next school year. He will attend Emmanuel United Methodist Church preschool on Tuesday and Thursday. They have a wonderful program. He is certainly ready with being potty trained for quite some time now, since he was 2 1/2. He is so proud to tell his ABC's and colors. He gets such joy out of saying prayer at dinner also. It is just so cute!

Grayson attended his friend Jake's birthday party the past weekend. Was it fun or what! It was a Lego Star Wars themed party! All the kids had so much fun playing with light sabers Jake's mom made for everyone. Speaking of parties, Rogan is all pumped up for his big day too. It will be here in a few weeks! He is our Valentine Baby!!! He is full of love that is certain! He enjoys dress up as much as big brother and loves Power Rangers like big brother and they both love Red Ranger!

We have been enjoying Grayson's soccer this season also. His best bud, Seth is on the same team! Rogan is about ready to play soccer himself. It so much fun watching all those little guys run around after the ball. This year though, they have gotten much bigger so there is more contact! Grayson plays through The YMCA and how we love The Y. We have been enjoying swimming of Friday nights also. I have made it a routine to find time for myself to work out also. It makes me a better mother and wife getting that time and makes me healthier all in one! What a win. Some times all to often I should say, my days revolve around my boys and our family and I have to remind myself to make time for me too! Mine and Marc's social schedule is full with their activities and that's just the way we like it!
