I can't wait any longer for a piece mommy!

Grayson's award for math! Way to go!!

The days go by!!! Oh, how I can feel them flying and yet I can't stop them no matter how much I wish I could! We celebrated Grandpa's birthday in January and Grandma made crab legs and steak! Wow and Grandpa turned 60!!! So much fun and I have to say the cake I made was out standing! Unlike any ice cream cake but better or so I'm told! We also celebrated another birthday this month, our baby boy turned 4! Oh, how it make me sad I no longer have toddlers in my house but I am so proud of all their achievements and their independence! It's always amazing to me how much they change and grow each and every month. Rogan decided the week before his birthday, instead of an ice cream cake, he wanted an 'Angry Birds' cake! I had to move fast to make all those birds for his cake but it was fun! He sure loved his cake and party. He got lots of wonderful presents and so thankful everyone remembered his special day and made him feel special. He loves to get mail or should I say they both do! Rogan had a birthday weekend for certain, 'Callaway Style' I call it.

Friday night, we took him to Red Robbin for a special dinner and fudge sundae where they sang to him. Rogan loved it. Saturday, he went to 'The Hamilton County Sports Complex' to the jump place and then his party was that night. Sunday, he went to Chuck E Cheese's for pizza and play! That said ..what a busy weekend and fun filled too! We wanted to make sure he celebrated in style. As you can see, the boys also enjoy bowling. They have gotten pretty good. Grayson bowls lots of strikes.

Grayson also got an award from his teacher for math. That boy loves math and can solve problems off the top of his head. During December, he looked at our advent calendar and said to me, "Mommy, six goes into 24, 4 times." I was amazed! He hasn't even been introduced to division so wow!!! He also loves to read and write and does so well in school. I realize he is only in first grade but we are excited for him that he loves school so much. Rogan enjoys practicing tracing his letters with me and cutting and pasting to practice eye hand coordination and writing his name. We keep a chart and a folder and he is so proud!

Grayson lost his two front teeth in January so the Tooth Fairy paid double that month. Rogan keeps asking when he will lose teeth and the Tooth Fairy will visit him, not for a while we say. We are certainly ready for Spring. Marc is getting ready to open a new store (Qdoba) down town so that will keep him very busy the month of April. We have enjoyed the snow this season and the warm weather too! Yesterday we were out swinging and riding bikes and here we are today awaiting winter weather again. Rogan is ready to color eggs and for the Easter Bunny to visit. We already have our spring bulbs starting to pop up and the trees have the closed buds too. Spring is just around the corner!!!
