Grayson "Iron Foot' as they call him, gets his soccer trophy!
So much time has gone by since my last posting! It's been a few months so there is so much to say! We have been enjoying our busy life! During Spring Break we had so many fun adventures! The boys went to the zoo twice and we also made our way to Conner Prairie and to The Children's Museum, along with a few swimming trips at the YMCA. We also made time to visit The Easter Bunny. Grayson has been playing soccer the last few months and has now moved onto flag football. Our Rogan has begun his very first sport, T-ball. He is loving it and doing well. Marc is the coach of Rogan's T-ball and Grayson's flag football so Saturday's at the 'Mathias' house just got a bit more funtastic! Grayson was named 'Iron Foot' in soccer because of his power kick! He had a great time playing soccer. Rogan decided he was ready to play a sport after sitting on the side lines watching brother have all the fun. As you can see,Grayson has lost yet, another tooth. Those teeth sure are keeping The Tooth Fairy very busy these days. Rogan and I have also made a few trips to The Museum with cousin's Lilly, James and Isaac. Fun times let me tell you! We were also able to join Isaac at the zoo! Rogan had his first time to the zoo with just Mommy last week. We had so much fun! We rode the train and just had such a wonderful day! Before Rogan was born, Grayson and I used to frequent the zoo often and even when Rogan was a baby but this is Rogan's alone time now. He loved it and wanted to make sure we took all the same poses and pictures we take when we have gone with Grayson. It was actually very sweet of him!
Rogan loves Marc being his coach and big brother Grayson loves to help out. It's a family affair to say the least. After T-ball we head home for lunch and then back out the door for flag football. Marc has had an exciting month in April with the opening of another new store of his City Way which is located downtown. That kept him very busy the month of April but now they are off and running on their own without Marc holding their hand. It's a beautiful store. Easter was fun, decorating eggs and yes, The Easter Egg finding and hunt. I made a bunny cake from scratch of strawberry cupcakes. It was to die for! I think it's time to make some more of those! Grayson is now counting down the days left until summer break He can't wait. Don't get me wrong, he loves school and does very well but he says he's ready for break! We just signed him up for VBS at our church so he's looking forward to that also. I love that every first Sunday, he comes to service with us as all the kids do his age group and participate in communion, how special!
Hopefully, my next post won't be so overdue. We also got a nasty virus on our computer so that was a huge pain but we have finally beat it and destroyed it!! Yea, I am so happy to have my computer back even though I use my phone a lot, I can't blog and post pictures on my phone! Happy Spring to all of you! We are loving all the beautiful flowers and the sweet sound of the birds melodies.
