Snow, snow and more snow! Who loves snow! Good bye January hello February!

My mommy makes the very best hot chocolate
Look, I made a snow angel
Fruit pizza for my Senior Preschool friends
 Holidays with cousins
 Grayson's class Christmas Party
Bringing in the New Year playing Dr. Who Monopoly
Happy New Year Grayson, I love you!
 The Domino Kings
Who says I'm not an angel too
 Can we go sledding now
First, we have to make a path
It may be cold but I'm still swinging
I got you snow! Can you say blizzard
 Ready set go!!!
Making it back up the hill
Marc trying out his new blower, who knew we would get all this snow
 Winter wonder land indeed

Can anyone say where's the snow? Not this season, wow! What fun we had playing in the snow and all the extra days of Christmas break we got to spend with Grayson due to the harsh weather.  Now that February has arrived I can honestly say, I think we are good on  the snow. We are ready to be out and about and back to doing all the fun activities we normally do. I must say, I had the best time sledding when we got all that snow. I can't remember the last time I actually got on a sled, maybe at Purdue when I was in college! Any way what a blast! We all loved every minute! I hear more snow is on it's way this week yet again.

Well, the talk around our house currently is, "How many more days until my birthday?" asks Rogan. I have a dry erase board in the kitchen with the countdown written so Rogan can check each and every day. We are now at 14 days. Grayson's big count down is, "How many more days until my sleep over with Jake?" and we tell him the week and he counts down the days. Neither one can wait until their big day. Rogan is so excited for his birthday. Princess Leia will be coming and doing face paintings for all the children, Stars Wars of coarse and she will also be doing light saber balloons. As a surprise to Rogan, Darth Vader will be coming by to fight all the young Jedi and to pay a special visit to birthday boy Rogan! What a day, right! Grayson's sleep over will be his very first. He and all his good buddies just can't stop talking about it! It has become the topic of discussion every day at lunch.

We have been taking it easy with all the snow. Some days more so than others. Right now the recycle truck is here and that is the highlight of every other Monday for Rogan! He loves the recycle truck especially the big arm that picks up the bin and dumps it. In a few weeks, Grayson will start early ortho! I can't believe he is old enough but he is a big boy now! We tell him and Rogan they will always be our babies. I dread within a year my Rogan will be too big for me to pick up! Kindergarten was about the age I could no longer carry my Grayson! Well the 100th day of school has come and gone. I wish the groundhog, Mr. Punxsutawney Phil hadn't delivered such bad news...six more weeks of winter! We will just shovel more snow, build more fires, have more hot coco and anxiously await springs arrival!
