Finally!!! He's here...Darth Vader!
Join the Dark Side with me young Jedi!
The force is strong in this one!
Use your Jedi mind power to blow out the candles
Well, as you can see from the pictures, Rogan had a wonderful 5th birthday! We all had a blast. He was so surprised when Darth Vader arrived! We had fun games, face paintings and light saber balloon making and wrapping the Jedi and many other games. Don't forget the cake and cupcakes, yes the cake which came after eating yummy Qdoba! Rogan's own words, "This is the best party ever!" He loved his Darth Vader/ Star Wars party. He has become quite the Lego builder these days. His train table has been transformed into what is now,' Lego Land'. He has so many Legos already but he still continues to love them and wants to collect them all. His favorite as you can only guess are Star Wars themed. His goal now is to get The Death Star and The Millennium Falcon. All Star Wars Lego fans know those are indeed the ultimate sets to have. We are working toward those.
Our boys are growing so fast each and every day. Rogan's excited for kindergarten roundup in just a few short weeks. He is eager to ride the bus a few times a week with big brother Grayson. So far it looks like Rogan will get the 1/2 day kindergarten option which is what we want. We will know for certain next week, fingers crossed. Rogan also got his very own library card a few weeks ago. Once you turn ,5 you can get your own. Both boys still love reading and we hope that never changes! Rogan loves senior preschool and counts down until the next day he goes. Next month Rogan is going to Clowe's Hall to attend a play with his preschool class! We can't wait, it will be so much fun. I plan on going as a chaperon. Our Grayson is going to have is art displayed at the Hamilton County art fair this weekend. So proud of him. While I was at school today volunteering in Grayson's class, I had the pleasure of meeting his art teacher. She went on and on about how Grayson was such a wonderful student and a pleasure to have in class! Beautiful words to any mother's ears!
Grayson and Rogan are both signed up for spring sports. Rogan will be playing Soccer and Grayson yes of coarse, Flag Football. Marc will be coaching both their sports. That said here is a month, life will once again move into the fast lane around here between the two boys sports. We love it though so much fun and wouldn't have it any other way! Grayson had his very first big boy sleep over last month at his good buddy Jake's house! The four boys all great friend's and had a blast I'm told! They had pizza, went bowling, stayed up late playing video games and then pancakes in the morning! Grayson has been asking to host a sleepover himself now. Looking into that for the summer.
The boys are also counting down their Disney vacation. We leave the weekend after school is out. We fly out on the 7th and return the15th of June! Wow!! I can't wait!!! Fun, Fun, Fun!!! Going to be the best I just know it! We plan on going to Magic Kingdom a few times and to The Studios too for Star Wars weekends! Can't get here fast enough! We looove Disney!!! We get to stay at Disney's Board Walk Resort! Makes my tummy giddy just thinking about it from excitement! Like a little kid on the commercials! Any way Spring Break is around the comer and no vacation for us since in a month and a 1/2 we fly out to Disney. I hear another spell of cold polar air is headed our way as spring arrives. Really!!! It's OK we have lots of fun outings planned for spring break so either way, we will make it fun no matter what! We are The Mathias', it's what we do! Love, fun and chaos all balled up into one.
